Dear Mum and Dad

Today was the saddest day of my LIVE!! I reached ashore but my Brother and Friend didn’t make it. As I walked up quietly, I hear guns being shot...People screaming in pain...Not just any pain the pain that feels like you are going to die. I was petrified as I saw two bullets go either side of my head. Mum and Dad if you are reading this right now then you would know how much pain I am in. There was something shivering down my spine. I saw someone going to the trenches that had a bullet straight through his leg… I could see is bones they were as white as the clouds on a sunny day…His blood was as red as fire in a volcano,the bullet could been seen on both sides of his leg.This will be the last time I will write to you ever…

I wish I had not fighted with you I am so sorry that I didn’t fight when I had to do something I am so sorry
